Comparing Characters

This is my Showme.  Showme was easy.  I like using it because it's fun.

In class, we have been reading the novel, Bridge to Terabithia.  We are learning to describe the characters in the story.   Each day, we read a chapter of the story and think about aspects of the characters.  This picture is a Venn diagram that I created to show the different aspects of the two main characters, Jess and Leslie.  Jess and Leslie are very different characters when they are introduced, but as the story goes on they find there is more and more that they have in common.

It was easy to pick out what the differences between the characters are because they are really obvious in the story.  For example, Jess comes from a poor family but Leslie is rich.  The hardest part of comparing the characters was finding the things they had in common.  These things you had to really think about because they weren't s obvious.

It will be interesting to see how if the characters change as the story goes on.

 I can type my reflection around this.  I need to think about what was I learning.  I need to tell my audience the background to my learning and my own thoughts and feelings about my learning.
